About

Jenna Crawford is a 26 year old English graduate, artist, writer, and enamel pin enthusiast. Much like Shoshanna, Crawford decided to convert to Judaism around the age of 17 to continue the legacy of her great-great-grandparents.

Vanilla Mizrahi was born out of a desire to see more Judaic media that was fantastical and represented as many kinds of Jewish people as possible. Parts of the comic are based on the author's own life, but you have to guess which ones.

Crawford is simultaneously producing a second webcomic, updating biweekly. Quinn is a reboot of a comic she wrote in high school, about the daily adventures of a teenage trans boy.
